I have no words that fully state my feelings. Tears came to my eyes and I felt special in hearing an ordinary person with such an extraordinary gift. He is blessed that he knows his gift from our Lord. God gifted us all, but many of us never realize what our gift is.

I heard a portion of it about 4 years ago and bought the album. As it turns out, He does believe in God but most of the allegory had new age beliefs. I am mature enough in Christ and knowledgeable of the Word that I could eat the hay and leave the sticks (as older people used to say). I do not recommend his album but appreciate the truths that are interspersed in it. In this world we are admonished to study to show ourselves approved as good workmen unto God for the reason that there will be doctrines that are designed to deceive even the elect. Without the leadership of the Holy Spirit, we would be doomed to the plight of those whose spiritual blindness leads them into a ditch. This of course includes the importance of testing and trying the spirit of those who profess salvation whether they be of God — from the pulpit to the pew. It is a straight and narrow walk, but we have a very important responsibility to know the voice of our Father and not follow that of the stranger who tries to mimic or copy Him. BUT YES HE DOES HAVE A BEAUTIFUL VOICE AND A HUMBLNESS ABOUT HIM.

I received this email from my 78 year old Father: “I have watched this twice, can’t say why, I cried twice, Love Dad.”
I agree, I have never appreciated opera myself but I also found my eyes wet. I think it’s his over all story and his humility that comes across through the music and touches us. I feel he truly sings from his heart. The effect of a pure heart is a powerful thing. Makes me think of the beauty that we see in the questions of a wide eyed trusting child.

I have seen this clip a long time back, each time I see it I am amazed and moved by the talent he brings to the stage. A true star is a aware of ones talent but does not need to brag about it. for his light will shine bright. His is a true gift from God . What moves me most is the reaction from all of the judges.

This video just sends a chill down your spine. It really shows what God given gifts are, and the way that he portrayed himself, so humble was outstanding. I have seen this video clip of Paul Potts many times since he first appeared on that talent show. Everytime I see the clip I get goosebumps & cry from the emotion of his singing & sheer talent of this man. He came out to Australia last year after the talent show & I saw him a couple of times on TV singing that same song & he has a CD out, which I intend getting.
I believe in God and the dreams came true…follow the spirit…only the spirit… and fly…JESUSCHRIST is waiting for you… He is in the end of the road…take my hand and run…is wonderful…He amazes everybody…Love in Jesus…R3…

Absloutely stunning! I am teaching a friend with a paralyzed arm how to play violin…teacing him to see that that there really are no barriers in God’s world, and this amazing man just proved that to all of us. Mr. Pott’s voice is a God given talent that has, and will continue to be a true inspriation to all who this man’s extraordinarily ..ordinary life has touched.
