Manna from Heaven

For 50 days three young cousins floated adrift in the South Pacific.

On October 5th, 14 and 15 year old cousins, Iele, Filo and Etuen set out for a neighboring island to meet three young girls they had recently met at a Rugby Tournament.

They set out on a small 12 foot metal boat loaded up with only two days worth of coconuts. Unfortunately, their boat lost power and and they ended up drifting 750 miles.

Over the next 50 days the sun deteriorated their clothes and when found, they were naked, sunburned and virtually skin and bones.

They were definitely physically weak, however, their spirits survived intact.

When they told of their ordeal they described surviving on rain water they collected each night in a tarp. For food they ate flying fish that jumped in their boat and a seagull that landed on their boat only two weeks earlier.

When one thinks of fish coming to their boat and food falling (or flying) from the skies it’s easy to think of the biblical parallels and imagine that it was a higher power that stayed with them on their journey.

That’s indeed a great miracle and sure evidence that God still has a purpose for their lives. They need to submit their lives and purpose to leave for him and serv him.

Thank God for saving grace, by His mercies alone the boys were saved.
We must stand by Faith, not by sight, prayers changes things and miracle does happen, this is a sure calling upon each one of their lives. Now, it is time to surrender all unto HIM, for God & God alone only by His power, miracles happen, this is an eye opener for the unbelievers.

Never doubt our Lord. All you have to do is believe in Him. A prayer will always be heard, if you are sincere. Miracles do come true. Take the time to do something kind every day. Don’t be afraid to tell everyone you know,or those you just met, how the Lord helped you. I love you Jesus. Thank you for helping these boys and everyone else you help every day and we don’t hear about.
