A Knight in Shining Armor

Not many of us can say that we have our very own Knight in Shining Armor.

When Shirley Dygert decided to have an adventure for her 54th birthday, she didn’t realize she would do so with someone who would end up being her very own Hero.

Shirley’s adventure turned awry and thinking that her life would momentarily be over, Shirley prayed to God for help.

It was then that Dave Harstock made a quick decision that changed both of their lives forever. It is also reminiscent of another man who willingly sacrificed His life for us.

That is what Christ did 4 the whole world. all i can say is HOW AWSOME R U!!!!!!. praying or strenth and courage 4 each day. i will pass ur story on to my church and we will be praying for u. God blessings on u and ur mum. May God have an open heaven on u both.

  10. Dave Harstock is not only a modern day hero or a knight in shining armor. He is an angel in disguise. Shirley Dygert must have done something good in her lifetime which earned her a selfless skydiver to save her from what could have been a fatal fall for both of them. But because of Dave’s quick thinking, they survived the fall butleft Dave paralyzed and yet so full amazing spirit. We will pray for your complete recovery Dave and for your mother who cares for you.

People are born to die, but in between there is a special paragraph in the book of a life that is truly governed by the Almighty hand of our Creator. We never know when that page will open up until in an instant it takes control of our inner most man – and Dave experienced it and Shriley received from it another chance to live. God bless you Dave and continue to bring strengthening healing to every part of your body and life, and to you Shirley may the love expressed to you be enriched each day as you walk on to enrich others’ lives.
