What a precious video, thank you for sharing your great relationship with a baby that is “dangerous” lol. It depends on the people it’s around. I am a animal lover, it is so nice to see people that are so great….Thank you so much, keep up the love.

Thank you for sharing this lovely video with us it realy intresting and fun to see Animal living with human.

  19. Great video!!!! This is an opportunity for all of us to think about possibilities with situations that seem impossible.
If an animal that is responsible for more human deaths in Africa can love a family (and friends) of humans, than maybe all of us humans can get along with each other……

Wild animals belong in the wild. A Hippo is not a pet animal. She seems to be a good animal, but I wouldn’t take the chance!

  21. laur says:

This just goes to show how God makes it feel when everthing and everyone is loving.

This video made my day. I was feeling down, but once I saw this video it cheered me up. I have two dogs and three cats, I chuckled to myself thinking: How would my animals react to this “overgrown dog/cat in the house?” It especially might calm down my two Lab/Chow Miniature collies, who are one year old and bouncing off the rafters. Maybe I should ask the owners for a visit to see if my dogs would calm down….smile. No, seriously, this really made my day. Thanks for the video, keep them coming.

It only reaffirms how awesome GOD is. As stated before, if wild aminals can live in peace with man, then why can’t man live in peace with each other. This is a share video. Thank you once again.

This video is to show us that with GOD, nothing is impossible.
Man, learn to live with your fellow man.

Thank you for allowing me to see the love shared in this family with Jessica the Hippo!

I watched the other video offered with the story on Jessica the hippo, (about Holly on the “Britain’s Got Talent Show,), and I loved it! My additional gratitude goes out to sharing the beautiful and astonishing voice of our little ten year old Holly, who dressed as a shy ballerina, belted out a beautiful voice that simply outweighed any obstacles in the way of God’s great gifts to us all!

Thank you for these daily gifts of good feeling!!!!! Just like smiling at another in the street…..I smile back and send blessings to all!

  33. margaret says:

amazing it really is. I just can’t imagine that a very good care taker for the animals specially the wild is very remarkable. I salute their family and I am very greatful that they really love those animals with them. The animals find a refuge from them and they provide them LOVE and PEACE.
    Thats wonderful.

  34. Flo says:

Cute video but the announcer was a major distraction. When I was in school, speech was a required course for all communications majors. Then Jessicur, could be called Jessica and she could walk thru a door, not a doa.

  35. Pilar says:

It’s amazing, I’d never think about an hippo living in a house as a pet, it makes me smile!!!!!!!!!

  36. Ernie says:

this video reminds us of the greatest commandment by GOD, Love God plus Love everyone as you love yourself, maybe this is a sign that time will come that animals and man will be living together happily ever after, its so refreshing to one’s heart

  37. Ann says:

What wonderful caring humans. This Hippo has taken to this family because they are caring and loving. Thank you for sharing the video of your extended family. I hope Jessica lives a long and healthy life with you.

Being an animal lover, I think it’s a beautiful thing when such an animal and family can adapt to each other. If I could honestly have one, I’m sure i would be the same way. I would love it as my child. It touched my heart to see the dog laying next to her especially with a blanket over her. God is good……………….

  42. olivia says:

i just loved that video it , im so glad we still have people that care for animals what kind they are.

  43. LINDA says:

I’m an animal lover, so to me this is the sweetest story. Really though, it just shows you that love is universal and can breach any barrier. Whether man or beast, love, kindness and understanding is what we all hope for in this world.

  48. Sandy says:

I was glad that I opened and viewed this video. It has a great message about taking things out of their element and by showing them love, protection, trust and security and if it is the only thing they know they will want that feeling forever. Like Children’s Ministries, show them the love and joy in knowing Jesus at a very early age and they will want that love and joy forever.
    Nice clip.

Loved the story. Pretty amazing. One thing though felt that feeding her coffee was not good. It’s addicting and therefore would opt for something better for her than than, otherwise great story.

Can you imagine what it will be like when all animals and mankind will walk in peace with each other? No killing. When the lamb and the lion shall lie down together.
