Pine Tree Crosses Easter Story
Last April on a Sunday we took one of our "nowhere" drives, my husband was quietly driving a back road. I was occupied in the front passenger seat watching the scenery.
I noticed out of the corner of my eye that my husband was straining to look out my window. This startled me, since his eyes should be on the road in front of him. I asked him what he was looking at out the windows, and he quietly replied, "Nothing."
His eyes went back to the road in front of him.
After a few minutes, I looked over at my husband and noticed a tear running down his cheek. I asked him what was wrong. This time he told me, "I was just thinking about Pop and a story he had once told me." Of course, because it had to do with his Pop I wanted to know the story, so I asked him to share it with me.
He said, "When I was about 8 years old, Pop and I were out fishing and that’s when he told me that the Pine trees know when it is Easter."
I had no idea what he meant by that, so I pressed him for more information.
He continued on… "The Pine trees start their new growth in the weeks before Easter — if you look at the tops of the Pine trees two weeks before, you will see the yellow shoots. As the days get closer to Easter Sunday, the tallest shoot will branch off and form a cross.
By the time Easter Sunday comes around, you will see that most of the Pine trees will have small yellow crosses on all of the tallest shoots."
I turned to look out the window and I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was a week before Easter, and you could see all of the trees with the tall yellow shoots stretching to Heaven.
The tallest ones shone in the sunlight like rows of tiny golden crosses.

hey, take good care of yourself men. i miss you a lot..
This so wonderful! this shows that even creations acknowoledges God beyond our thinking. and even if people stops praising God,creations are ready to stand in the gap. thank you for sharing with me dear, May the Lord count a blessing on you.

Thank God for all that he gives us and we pray for all those who have left the Church and formed their own churches. May the Lord bless them and bring them back to his fold
Amazing story!!! I believe there is God every where and he is watching each one of us in his own way, whether through – whether through Lord Brahma , Lord Jesus or Allah! Only wish human kind would open their eyes soon to see what a beautiful we are living in and realise what they are destroying !!
God never ceases to amaze me – He is awesome – the attention to detail
leaves us without doubt that He exists -if we would but take the time to
get to know Him we would indeed walk in the fulllness of life.
Pine trees will never look the same to me. In UK the woods and forests are filled with pine trees. Next time I see one I will be more attentive and look higher than the first branches. God is Great. Hallelujah!!!!!!
as i am a country girl, i can confirm of this story and i always think abt it when i see it as a Cross, but i didn’t realise that it’s Easter time.

I know there’s a “GOD” because No ONE CAN DO THAT BUT “ALMIGHTLY GOD”
I think that the crosses on the Pine Trees shows God’s Love for us and a reminder that He died for us and forgive us of our sins.
Wow that’s miracle. This indicates that god is within us ,we just need to look with open eyes & mind.Even nature conveys the same.Truely a spiritual and divine feeling..
3-31-10 I just went out to look at our pine trees, the small crosses are starting to form. But are not in full view as of yet.
That is truly beautiful information to know.
I will be on the alert.
May God be with you today and always.

Even if we still dont want to acknowledge that God is ALIVE and amongst us He surely will show Himself in any way. We just have to look around and see His wonders.
im so bless!
I will go outside now and look at the pine trees and tell all that I come in contact with. Another blessing that our GOD blesses us with, we are priviledged to stand on this earth that He created for us and He lets us enjoy the beautiful things (such as the pine trees) that He has created for us. Happy Easter to all and may God Bless you.
Gods natural beauty is all around us. Let us stop and witness his beauty in all that surrounds us. Amen
With one tender touch of His mighty hand He created another renaissance in the rememberance of His only Son, that we should
never forget the price that was paid for our souls. Just another
way He shows a merciful love in such a miraculous gift.

GOD IS A GOOD GOD. NO MAN CAN DO THAT.
It’s like our photos in our wallets or on our key chains, reminding us of our values. Except this one is alive with a beginning and an end that man did not create. I thank Him for these simple pleasures that maintain our humility and serenity throughout the day. Happy Easter all.

What a beautiful way to show us God is alive and everywhere in nature. I have received this many times over the last few months but everytime I look at it and read it – the Easter story thrills me. The way to life is through the CROSS – the cruciifixion and resurrection. Praise God – His merceis endure forever.
Yes, Our Lord Jesus Christ is indeed the saviour of the mankind. He speaks to us in different ways. May His name be praised all the time.
