Empower Your Day
It wasn’t that long ago that the term “empowerment” was the latest buzzword – and in fact, it still is a much-used term. But sometimes it can be misunderstood.
Power is actually one of the five basic human needs. By definition, power has to do with dominance and control. But I’m not talking about the control of one human being over another. It’s more like an example of when people tend to take things personally, but you can empower yourself to not be affected.
YOUR power, that is a basic human need, has to do with the “personal power” to not be offended or to not let someone else control YOUR emotions.
If you translate your “power need” into a personal affirmation, you might say something like, “I am in control of my life.”
Translate this further into the work environment, “I am in control of the work that I do.”
When we are in control of our lives or our work, are able to make decisions that impact both and we can take responsibility for our decisions.
When people feel powerless it means that the ability to come up with options and to make decisions, to control their work or things that affect their lives, have been taken away or are limited (in their minds).
So today, and every day, empower yourself to control your own life, destiny and emotions!!

Truly inspirational! This I believe captures the true essence of human nature. Good begets Good! It is through our experiences of living that our mind becomes deluded! Full of phoney wants and desires that take us away from our true selves. It is so insidious that we come to see these delusions as natural. It is a gift to be reminded of who are we really are and that within oneself we can find ourselves. We just have to trust and rely on we feel and in doing so we know what is right and pure. Thank You so much for reminding me!
I love these messages from God I believe that speaks thru peaple that needs to hear certain things And believe me some came at just the right time.thank you paulette

This message gives false hope. There is no God in it. It may even border on witchcraft…being one with nature, commanding your own universe etc. It may feel good for the moment but lacks substance to keep the fire burning. Our purpose and sense of well being comes not come from the world but only from the Creator of the world.
Meditation is ancient and used in the proper way wil lead us to a more positive life that was meant to be for us.
I believe that this is self is God message. No God here.
this is so inspirational so beauitful you just need to believe in ones self, find out just what you want no one else just you and go for it be positive be you it will be hard at first to think of only one self but it will get easier in time
I hope to know that this points of to God as the Creator. We are creatures endowed with the power of God. It is NOT our own power that enables us to create moments. It is God and God alone. Is this what you mean? I surely hope so.
I have for such a long time been a Spiritualist. Not believing in any religion. I know that my God would never want us to be seperated by such, nor would my God roast us over a firery place. This video says it all. We attract everything to us, good or bad. And by just being in spiritual tune we can do nothing but attract good. Everything is based on action-reaction. So if we choose a positive action to anything then we can only get a positive reaction. Thank you for the chance to express myself.
Without God, we are nothing! We can meditate and pray and have the belief in ourselves that we can do anything and everything, but if we leave God out, we can do nothing! We are not here because we willed ourselves here, we are here by God’s design for this particular time and place. When we leave God out, we are asking for disaster!
We are here for a purpose. Life’s about finding the purpose of our existence. The answer to our purpose is in the Words of God and that is in the Bible.
Sometimes there is a little “truth” sprinkled in to hide the lie. Most of this video does not line up with the Word of God or what Jesus said when He was on earth.
Beware of sweat lodges.
Very inspirational. Sad that there are so many individuals that want to base everything on the Bible. Had one completed research about the bible, one would know that it is a book, with multiple chapters, written by individuals (humans), put together by humans. The ONLY written form of information from God, is the 10 Commandments. The basis of the video is strictly to empower us, tap into the will, hope, goodness that God gave us. To believe within ourselves and not what the outside world deems appropriate.
“Love what you do…and do what you love…
This video is offensive because it says there is nothing we have to do unless we want to do, it is all about our needs, nothing about being a servant, glorifying God and seeking the life God preplanned for us before we were born. The only redeeming thought in the video is that we can control our thoughts and actions. I would not want my children or grandchildren to buy into this self-centered “me” thinking.
I thank God for giving us everything on this word..
The video starts out promising enough–beautiful and I thought inspirational. Unfortunately, it speaks to people controlling their own lives, and when one controls his or her own life, there is very often no room for God. When one feels powerless, then one must put his or her life entirely in the hands of God.
Me! Me! Me! The mantra of the self-absorbed,me first generation! This is poppycock in the sky! Christ tells us just the opposite. We are to forget self and serve one another. Can you imagine if Mother Teresa had bought into this drivel that is all about self?
There is no God inspiration here…it is all about self worship, self-creation, and ultimately this kind of thinking leads to self-destruction…and eternal damnation! What irony that this nonsense is being promoted by a blog that calls itself Inspiration by God!
Of course some have a purpose for being a political prisoner for nothing while he onlly did good deeds and gets punished for his live?
I enjoyed the video and the message. However, one very important factor was left out. And that is that GOD is our ‘creator’ and the reason we are here. And that yes we can do anything, but it is through God’s will and power that we can do all things. And lastly, the video mentions the power within you emerging when you begin thinking properly. I believe “this power” to be the spirit of God. And He is the way to happiness, success, and peace. Thanks for the video!
I love this video. It is just what I needed to hear. I am going to watch it whenever I feel down. You forget sometimes what wonderful beings we are an our possibilities. I needed to hear that to get me back on track. Thank you!
It is about time that the Truth is told. I have been teaching this for 3 decades now and been like a voice in the wilderness. Few have listened, even fewer have done anything to change their lives. Religion was invented by man for egotistical control and to be able to evade responsibility for self and one’s decisions and actions. Graduation Time is HERE, now. We are beginning “The Troubles” now and the last call for people to CHANGE, take command of their ship, and show personal responsibility has sounded. Will anyone pay attention?
Though I am a Christian, I have never taken the time to believe in myself. I know that God through Jesus believes that I am worthy, but finding that confidence in myself, I have not been able to do yet. Much of my life is a result of my not believing that I am able to be confident concerning myself and my choices. I think it is good to hear that there is always hope for me even though my time on this earth might not be long. I want to feel positive, and I want those around me to feel positive and afirmative about spending time with me. God is my leader, but He is using me to lead others to Him. THEREFORE I NEED TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT SHOWING AND BEING THAT PERSON THAT “GOD” EXPECTS ME TO BE THROUGH HIS GUIDANCE AND FORGIVENESS. I get it!! This video was very stirring to me, and it awoke a passion and zest for my remaining life that I needed to remember, (Why I am still here) I did not see it as a slam for the Lords ways, instead, It was a means of restoring a great confidence in myself, the creature that God created to be a leader. Someone who loves them, because He loves them, and He shows His love through His faithful followers. He shows them that Gods affirming about them is both Positive and Aggressive, and we need to believe in ourselves and our choices to be able to follow Him. Thank you for your enlightment. God is blessing you!!!
I have one thing to say-FABULOUS!!!! TY.
If what is taken from this is, ‘this is the day the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it’, ok. But, ‘He maketh it rain on the good and the evil’, and in our sorrows we learn to empathize with others as He brings us through. Yes, I believe we can choose to be happy, in that God is in control and that in itself is enough to rejoice about. This message can lead people to self help themselves who don’t have scripture written on their hearts. I suppose that’s where the controversy lies.
Its wonderful, but i’m allready a Christian, and i wan to send this to a friend in Russia, get in touch with me to give you her E- mail address.Thnk.GOD bless
If you believe in God, and you believe God is good, then I don’t understand how you can draw lines between any two people who use different words to describe their personal experience of God. Jesus said “follow me” not “worship me.” “Love God and love your neighbor.” It is the same in all organized religions and spiritual experiences. Yet the commentary in this thread clearly demonstrates how those who profess to be Godly step into judgment of each other, defending their “truth” and condemning and warning others who have different words and concepts for expressing their love of God and man. Even those who don’t use the word God, but see meaning in our existence and a need for cooperation rather than separation, are among the same human family, the spirit of which comprises the body of God. “Scripture” means different things to different people, and that is as it should be, because we each come to experience God through our own unique life experiences. As we honor each other’s experiences and traditions without judgment (or “discernment” – a disguise for judgment) we cooperate with God as the expression of spirit into each other’s lives. For those who take exception to what they see as the “me first” message, the way I understand Judeo-Christianity (I am not learned in the specifics of other religious doctrines) is that the ancients believed we were “created in God’s image” and the rest is up to us to make of it what we choose. We can build meaningful lives, taking guidance as we choose from the ancient texts and living spiritual leaders, or we can self-destruct on our own. We can choose to live happy lives among our fellow humans. Or we can choose to be contentious and unhappy. One quick way to do that is to stand in judgment of others’ beliefs and traditions.
This is a nice presentation. However, there is no mention of Jesus Christ. Our focus should not be on our selves, but on our Lord. All things are possible only through Him.
How very sad that we think if we exalt ourselves above God, that we can be something more if we focus on the “Me”, it is only by the grace of God thru the love of His Son Jesus Christ that we are filled with His Holy Spirit and that is whom give us the peace and power we need to have a life overflowing with endless love. I pray the the Lord reveals His Son to you in a very personal deep way
Joy in Christ
This is visually captivating, but more than borders on humanism. It’s NOT all up to me . . . its up to Him and my power is in obedience to Him.
This is new age………..nothing but new age. Self glorifying, misleading and dangerous. Where’s God in this video?
I BELIEVE GOD HAS A PLAN FOR ALL OF US, PRIDE IN OURSELVES IS NOT WANT HE WANTS FOR US.
lovely but missed the point i am who am God: revealed in Jesus is the way the truth and the life PERIOD
Very disappointed that the producers of this site would allow such a video to be displayed. Suggest you
take the producers, etc off of your list: Nine Network, Jerry & Esther Hicks, John McAvoy, Rhonda Byrne, Paul Harrington, Drew Heriot, Glenda Bell, Damian Corboy, Daniel Kerr. Praise to those who have given Praise to God & Jesus in the comments section. ME, ME, ME is a sounding out of “NEW AGE”
THINKING.. thoughts of all-powerful, and did I hear
magnificent in human form? & of all things saying we are a magnificent creator——? Did it say, we are here because “we want to be ” & because we are “powerful”???? ??????? DID I OR DID I NOT SEE A VIEW OF BUDDA NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE ?????? IT IS DISTURBING THAT ‘VULNERABLE YOUNG PEOPLE’ WILL READ THIS AND BELIEVE ONLY IN ‘THEIRSELF’……IT IS STILL
UNBELIEVABLE TO ME THAT THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN DISPLAYED
BY THOSE WHO, I THOUGHT, BELIEVED IN JESUS WHO IS THE
WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE………HOW DID WE COME
TO THIS?
This is truly a miracle for me today. I have been feeling powerless because of sibling abuse, greed & envy & downright nastiness – & this has given me the permission I need to empower myself. I choose now not to react, therefore creating more love in my life. Why do we always think that families matter in the greater scheme of things? I am reminded by what Jesus said, “I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother…one’s foes will be members of one’s own household.” This is so empowering for people who are abused, coupled with this video. How magnificent is the miracle of God?
Please remove me from your site information. This site is not what the name implies and you are walking on a slippery slope, on which I do not want to tread.
I am so shocked and upset that You the Inspiration of God website would even show this. This video you posted is “New Age” There is nothing about God or His son Jesus Christ. Where is the humility…………We are nothing without our Lord Jesus Christ. Our power and Love comes from Him, not ourselves. It is a gift from the Lord. Take me off you mailing website, I don’t ever want anymore of your misleading information.
To be honest, this video confused me, so much so that I stopped listening to the message. There is an instance in the Bible where one of Jesus’ disciples rebukes a woman who told the truth. She may have told the truth, but the spirit in her was a wicked evil one. That tells me that we need to be careful and to draw our boundaries and monitor them lest the enemy slips in under the radar. It seems so with this video. There are books called self help books…and that’s what they push…you helping you. Where is God in this? He has the last say above all and it seems He was totally forgotten in this. Be aware because the
enemy is very subtle and he can slip in unnoticed.
If this webssite is truly about God,,then why would you even think,,,,,,,,,about showing this video?????
It can only confuse those who are wondering about God , and trying to find Him!!!!
I am disappointed to see this where I thought that all of your information is “safe”, and true.
Please don’t lead people astray…there are already plenty opportunities for that …
Michael W. Smith has recently released his Album’s first single: “Save me from Myself”. This song speaks to me and gives me true hope in my Saviour Jesus Christ. I can sincerely say that I am nothing without God. This video, on the other hand, it does not point to God as the source of our hope and our salvation. I agree with the others who say that the video is misleading.
God bless you.
I am very surprised that this website posted this video, and I’ll tell you why.
This video focuses on “self, I, me”. Although some of the elements of the video were true, such as our uniqueness, our preciousness, etc., it fails on one huge point – it leaves out God, and attributes this “power within us” & “energy” to us, not God.
The sad part of this is that many people will see the beauty of these pictures; the message of “self-fullfilment” & the idea of taking charge of one’s life as a good positive thing, but will do so for selfish reasons, and with a false premise.
The premise is that the “energy” exists in the world, but it does not attribute it to God. The truth is this: This world, in it’s beauty, was created by a supernatural, powerful, holy God. Mankind has fallen from the Grace of God because of sin, and it’s only through the shed blood of Jesus Christ that we will ever be whole & truly fulfilled in this life. All other promises of nirvana & utopia are unsubstantiated & totally false. The truth is JESUS CHRIST & HIS WORK FOR US ON THE CROSS.
Nicely presented but makes one believe that he/she is the all-in-all source of whatever it is that should be done, and nothing is attributed to God, the Creator and Almighty, the One who has set the standard for human conduct, who loves man and sets the landmark so that man would not live by “doing what is right in his own eyes but is wrong in God’s eyes.”
I thought that this site was Bible-based. I did not realize that it promotes pantheism as depicted by an image and views in this clip. To broadly use the word “CHRISTIAN” just by mentioning God or Jesus and not abiding by Biblical standards is not CHRISTIAN for the God of the Bible is absolute and holy in His essence.
“Jabardast”
TRUE.
Those who have spoken in negative terms about the
“me,me,me” philosophy espoused here are not coming from a place of judgmentalism but discernment regarding Truth! There are some grains of truth implanted here..but the overall tone is nothing more than New Age philosphy that reeks of humanistic secularism …nothing new here at all. The “Phd’er”
is typical of this kind of thinking..he downplays religion and claims it is the root of all evil. In its place he offers what has become HIS brand of religion as a self proclaimed god…ignoring the
wisdom of the centuries for his own brand of truth.
The world as HE sees it…ignoring reality! In his world absolutes do not exist while ignoring the illogic of his own professed inanities…As for being judgmental..that is always the liberal charge against any effort to refute their lack of reason and logic.
Being able to discern the truth from the lie involves making judgments. Christians are asked not to judge other’s final destination: heaven or hell. But we are to pray to the Holy Spirit for the gift of discernment to refute the Devil’s lies and avoid evil by using wise judgment, at the same time proclaiming the Truth deposited by Jesus Christ in His Church! Again I see nowhere in this video anything God inspired but the mark of man’s own arrogance leaps out at those wise enough to discern the real message being promoted.
I am indeed grateful to be me but without God i cannot achieve anything. Whatever I have or possess is given from above.
From my childhood I depended on Jesus and He himself was taking decisions to guide my life, today when I sit back and think I find that all His decisions were for my good although at times I was choosing to go a different path.
I think if we allow God to guide our life and we depend on him there will be no regrets.
Elic
it was really inspirational.Ijust loved it.I thank all the people who creted it.Its lovely
A very good inspirational message that shows us who we are and what potential we have.
Thanks for sharing this.
A true case of Existentialism. It’s sad to think there are people who actually believe these. The only thing I like about the video is the display of God’s creation. If this is the kind of videos the producers are going to start displaying, I shall unsubscribe.
