2 Corinthians 5:21 says “HE (GOD) made HIM(JESUS) WHO knew NO sin to BE SIN, on our behalf that we might become the RIGHTEOUSNESSS OF GOD in HIM.” JESUS did say “MY GOD, MY GOD why have YOU forsaken ME”
When JESUS was on that cross HE WAS sin, (Mine & yours) and in return
HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IS ON me. I am THE RIGHTEOUSNESS of GOD in CHRIST JESUS
PRAISE YOU JESUS for YOUR Mercy!!! That even though I am not who I need to be to receive YOUR kingdom, My righteousness is NOT based on my goodness, but on YOU and what YOU did for me. It’s an undeserved GIFT!!! (Grace) Praise YOU JESUS!! Ephesians 2:8,9, Titus 3: 5,6,7

It was a truly amazing piece of work. A reminder to everyone that we are loved even though we don’t deserve it. God in all of his wisdom, knew from the beginning that this would have to happen in order for mankind to be able to have a relationship with him. Jesus was willing to suffer all of the pains of the crucifixion. One who knew no sin, became sin and yes God the Father had to turn his back on him. I think he really died of a broken heart. But praise God he rose again on the third day, victorous over death, hell, and the grave.
