Mark Lowry is best known for the song he co-wrote  titled: “Mary Did You Know”.  However, his talents as a songwriter are hugely overshadowed not only by his stellar Baritone vocals with the Southern Gospel group The Gaither Vocal Band but also by his talents as a Christian comedian.

When sweet “septuagenarian” Mary Maxwell was asked to give the invocation at a convention for senior-care experts she was honored to do so. She gave the opening prayer and then continued to do much more than that.

Joel Osteen’s father founded “Lakewood Church” on Mother’s Day, 1959. Joel was born four years later. He was a (self described) shy young man who never had any interest in becoming a pastor himself.

He grew up working alongside his 4 siblings in his father’s church which had grown from very humble beginnings.

His father, John Olsteen, started Lakewood Church in an old dusty, abandoned feed store and over the next 40 years it grew to serve approximately 6000 members.

In January of 1999, at the urgings of his father, Joel Osteen gave his first sermon at his father’s church. A week later his father passed on.

Joel decided to take over his father’s position as head pastor due to his wife “Victoria’s” urgings and the support of his entire family.

With the help of some very special friends, Christian Ventriloquist Ryan and Friends sings a song we are all very familiar with.

You have never heard the song Jesus Loves Me sung quite this way. The result is a fun time!

Ryan graduated from the Maher School of Ventriloquism in Colorado. His talent has paid off as he gets invited to perform his good clean family show 500 times a year but only accepts 130 annually.

He is loved by children to senior citizens, moms to ceo’s alike and he always gets a standing ovation.
